Etsy Celebrates Spring in Style

We joined in the revelry at the recent Etsy Spring bash at Dallas' South Side on Lamar, and we chose a few vendor favorites among the creatives and craft-makers who were on hand to show off their collections. If you didn't make it to the shopping event, you can buy their designs via the wonderful -- and sometimes wacky -- Etsy website.

Devoted to handmade goods of all types, Etsy allows designers and vintage collectors the chance to showcase their items through a personalized, online boutique within the website. Search Etsy.com by vendor or by the type of merchandise you want to purchase, but consider yourself warned, the cool, sartorial collections on their website can easily have you shopping for hours.

Covetable lines discovered during Dallas' Etsy event included Revisionist Designs, Ornamental Things, and F is for Frank.

Jeremy Noel, designer of Revisionist, displayed the most creative take on this season's oversizedjewelry with his collection of bracelets and earrings made from pieces of new and vintage camera parts.Ornamental Things, based in Austin, had great statement pieces, and our favorites were the bracelets with turquoise embellishment. F if for Frank's cuff links were also tops on our list.

Shop these designers and so many more on Etsy and don't miss their next Dallas event on November 19 at The Palladium; check the event website for more details. We'll see you there.
