A work crew prepared to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from an Oak Lawn park on Friday, a day after a federal judge cleared the move.Workers used a saw to attempt to separate the statue from its base, but the 14-foot-tall monument proved heavier than they expected.
