Woman's Body Found in Burning Vehicle in Old East Dallas

A woman who was found dead in a burned-out SUV Monday night in Old East Dallas was apparently murdered, police say.Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel, along with Dallas police, responded around 7:30 p.m. to a vehicle fire in a parking lot in the 5600 block of Alta Avenue. Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered the body in the backseat of a white Chevrolet Tahoe, police said.A preliminary investigation points to a possible murder, police said.The woman's name has not been released.  Continue reading...
