Woman Can Testify in Trial of Former Attorney Accused of Raping Her When She Was 16, Judge Rules

McKINNEY — A woman who says she was raped by an attorney shortly after her 16th birthday will be allowed to testify at his trial, a Collin County judge ruled Tuesday.The woman underwent a court-ordered examination to determine whether ongoing drug use would impede her ability to testify against Michael Harssema, 45.
