Woman Attacks Friend Who Gave Her Place to Crash After She Got Out of Jail, Denton Police Say

A woman recently attacked a lifelong friend who gave her a place to stay after she got out of jail, Denton police said. The suspect, a 26-year-old woman, was arrested Monday in the 2100 block of Spencer Road, near Colorado Boulevard and Texas State Highway Loop 288, The Denton Record-Chronicle reports. The victim, another 26-year-old woman, said she let the suspect stay in her room since she got out of jail, but she'd stay in it "all the time with the door locked" and wasn't "doing anything productive," according to a police report obtained by the Denton paper.
