Woman Attacked, Sexually Assaulted After Leaving Work at Fort Worth Club

A woman was walking out of a Fort Worth club on Aug. 6 when she was attacked and sexually assaulted by a man on the sidewalk, Fort Worth police said. The woman told police she was walking to her car around 2:45 a.m. in the 500 block of Burnett Street after getting off work when the attack happened. The suspect fled the scene and ran toward the Fort Worth Central Library. Police said he was seen loitering in the area earlier in the day.At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a red shirt with a white shirt underneath and long black shorts or pants.Police said he is in his 20s and is over 6 feet tall.
