Woman Assaulted While Walking to Garage in Central Oak Cliff, Police Say

Police are asking residents to remain alert after a woman was assaulted while walking to her garage Thursday evening in central Oak Cliff, police said. The assault occurred about 5:45 p.m. in the 500 block of West Five Mile Parkway, near West Ledbetter Drive, police said. Police are asking for help locating the suspect, who was described as a teenage boy seen pushing a shopping cart down the street before the incident. The teen reportedly fled south on foot.
