There are many ways to judge an airline, but based on statistics tracked by the Department of Transportation, it's a high-flying time for U.S. carriers.Fewer bags are being lost, the number of passengers being bumped from flights has fallen by nearly half, and total complaints are down.The improvements aren't limited to just a few airlines, either, with nine out of 12 tracked by federal regulators posting an overall improvement across four key metrics between 2016 and 2017.  Continue reading...
