When Will Texas Get Serious About Addressing Dying Pregnant Women?

When Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced 20 emergency items that legislators needed to address in a special session this summer, most should well have waited for the next session. But one area he was right to sound the alarm on: the rate at which Texas women are dying from pregnancy-related causes.
