We recommend former Navy aviator Joe Ruzicka in the three-way Republican primary in statehouse District 107 for the right to take on Democratic Rep. Victoria Neave in November.Ruzicka's varied life and work experiences set him up well should he win in November against the Democratic incumbent. He's strikes us as both conservative and pragmatic. Ruzicka, 44, graduated from the Naval Academy before launching a 20-year career as an aviator. He moved back to his native Dallas in 2016, and has quickly immersed himself in local issues.
