Watch: 7-year-old's Reaction at Killing Her First Deer With AR-style Rifle Goes Viral

A video raking in the views shows a 7-year-old Texas girl poised for two minutes with her hands on a gun the size of her before she pulls the trigger, killing her first deer. The little hunter, Lilly Klapper, looks on in awe before beaming at her bearded father, who exclaims "You got it" and high-fives her. The action begins around the 1:40 mark:Lilly shot the whitetail deer Monday in Central Texas with an AR style rifle chambered in 300 blackout, according to a video description. The family appears to live in Jacksboro, about 65 miles west of Denton, according to the Facebook page of Lilly's mother, Daisy Klapper. The San Antonio Express-News reports that the video got more than 2.5 million views on Facebook, where it appears to no longer be available. It's also been posted on YouTube, though, which has received nearly 30,000 views since it was published Friday. Lilly's dad, Cody Klapper, posted a note on Facebook acknowledging critics. That may no longer be available on Facebook either, but WFAA-TV (Channel 8) published the remarks. "If you think that you might be offended by this video that has my daughter shooting a deer with a modern hunting rifle please keep scrolling," Klapper said.   Continue reading...
