Video Appears to Show Texas Officer Punching 14-year-old Girl Multiple Times

A video posted online over the weekend appears to show a San Antonio police officer punching a 14-year-old girl several times.Police were called Saturday night about men fighting outside an event center where a quinceañera was taking place. Officers described a scene where several people were fighting and tensions rose after police arrived.In the blurry, shaky footage shot by a bystander, an officer appears to take several swings at the girl, who is wearing a purple dress, before several other officers restrain her. The girl's mother can be heard screaming.The girl, whose name is not being released because she is a minor, was arrested on a charge of assaulting a public servant.
