Free jazz saxophonist Peter Brötzmann pairs up with pedal steel guitarist Heather Leigh at the Wild Detectives on Wednesday, May 22 for an improvisational duet. Although this will be his first time performing in Dallas, Brötzmann has been a heavyweight at the outskirts of jazz for decades, during which he's collaborated with bassist pianist Cecil Taylor, multi-instrumentalist Anthony Braxton and saxophonist Evan Parker — all accomplished musicians in their own rights.
