A vehicle burst into flames early Tuesday in the TEXpress lanes of Interstate 820 in Haltom City. Officers and firefighters were dispatched to the eastbound highway near Haltom Road about 4:45 a.m. North Richland Hills police also assisted. When crews arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed, sending smoke and embers into the air, but they were able to quickly extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
