Utility Firm Vistra Trading Downtown Dallas Office for New Headquarters in Irving

A long-time downtown Dallas employer is consolidating its operations in Irving.Vistra Energy said Wednesday that it will move its workers from the Energy Plaza tower downtown to its TXU Energy offices on Sierra Drive in Las Colinas."An important element of being one company and driving a common culture is to be headquartered in one building," CEO Curt Morgan said in a letter to the utility firm's workers. "We have looked throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area to find the best place to pull our corporate offices together."We have selected the current TXU Energy Sierra facility as our primary headquarters and will move our people from Energy Plaza to that location in 2017."Vistra Energy - which owns TXU Energy and Luminant - plans to move the bulk of its people to Irving by this summer.TXU was a longtime tenant of the 49-sttory Energy Plaza tower on Bryan Street.  Continue reading...
