Unibrows Required for Frida Fest Record Attempt at DMA

If you've ever been obsessed with the idea of dressing like Frida Kahlo and connecting your eyebrows into a unibrow, next week's event at the Dallas Museum of Art could be your chance to make it a reality.The DMA and the Latino Center for Leadership Development have partnered to try to set the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Frida Kahlo in one location.It's part of a Frida Fest on Thursday, July 6, her birthday. She would have been 110 this year. She died in 1954 at the age of 47.But her fame has only grown exponentially over the years, and today she is a noted figure in art history.About eight paintings by Kahlo are included in the DMA's current exhibition, México 1900-1950: Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, José Clemente Orozco, and the Avant-Garde.
