Two Teen Brothers Shot, One Dies After Meeting Up to Fight in Burleson Parking Lot, Police Say

A 18-year-old has been arrested after a 17-year-old was fatally shot and his 17-year-old brother was shot in the foot Saturday night when they were meeting to fight in a Burleson parking lot, police say. The two brothers were sitting in a car in a parking lot about 11 p.m. along the 300 block of N.W. Tarrant Street near Mound Elementary School when another car drove by and fired shots at the car, Burleson police said.Cameron Lewis, 17, was pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.His brother was taken to the hospital and suffered non-life threatening injuries after he was shot in the foot, police said.The 18-year-old is in custody and the investigation is ongoing, police said.  Continue reading...
