Two Decades in the Making, Work Starts on Dallas Arts District Tower

Dallas has been through two or three real estate cycles since Craig Hall purchased a Ross Avenue block in downtown.On Friday the developer began construction on a condominium and hotel tower that will occupy one of the last vacant properties in Dallas' Arts District."We bought this land in 1995," Hall said. "It took a long time."We are very proud of the Arts District."The $250 million Hall Arts Residences and Hall Arts Hotel will take more than two years to build. The project - the largest started downtown in more than a decade - will include 44 luxury homes and a 183-room hotel in a 25-story building between Ross and Flora Street.  Continue reading...
