Turning Windy and Colder

The strongest cold front of the season so far arrives in DFW around midnight. North winds will be 20-35 mph overnight as temperatures fall into the 40s and 50s. Friday will be windy and cold with temperatures steady in the 40s and 50s. As the winds decrease Friday night, temperatures will fall into the low to mid 30s. Many parts of North Texas will have their first frost Saturday morning, and some will have a freeze. Temperatures will rebound Sunday. The next cold front arrive Tuesday with a chance of rain for Halloween. TONIGHT: Turning colder and quite windy. Low: 46. Wind: NW 15-30 mph. FRIDAY: Wind Advisory until 10 am.
