Kay Granger is the top Republican on the House Appropriations Committee, putting her right in the middle of the funding fight. While expressing optimism that Congress could still work with Trump to end the impasse, she said she's "supportive of what he's doing.""I wish it weren't necessary," she told The Dallas Morning News, referring to the prospect of Trump declaring a national emergency at the border.
