Trump Legal Eagle Giuliani Will Be Selling Houses in D-FW Next Week

Rudy Giuliani isn't spending all of his time working for President Donald Trump's legal team in Washington.Next week he'll be in North Texas helping a local builder sell homes.The former New York mayor and Trump confidant is going to be the guest of honor at the grand opening party for a new $1 billion residential community in Farmers Branch.Megatel Homes is the biggest builder in the Mercer Crossing development north Interstate 635 and is having a May 8 gala for its real estate agent partners, employees and other invited guests.Giuliani and television personality Kevin O'Leary will be talking at the event."We have over 2,200 RSVPs so far," said Megatel CEO Zach Ipour. "We'll have 12 food trucks serving guest and have set up the big tent."We are spending over $700,000 on the 2-hour event."Megatel said the splashy party is a way to get real estate agents to look at his firm's new Mercer Crossing neighborhood and, hopefully, generate more home sale.Not that the builder needs much help - they are selling 15 to 20 houses a month in the project.Megatel hopes Giuliani's star power will get real estate agents to stop by for a look. They are also giving away cars and trips to Colorado to woo the sales people."We are investing in the Realtor community," Ipour said.The Farmers Branch-based builder can also count another figure from the Trump soap opera as one of its clients.Megatel built the house that porn star and Trump accuser Stormy Daniels lives in over in Forney."We built it three years ago and sold it to her," Ipour said.
