Troubled Teen Testifies She Was Forced Into Prostitution, But Defense Attorney Questions Her Credibility

MCKINNEY -- Prosecutors say the Collin County teen was the perfect victim -- an unruly girl and frequent runaway whose risky behavior led her to a man who forced into prostitution. But the defense claims the only victim in this week's criminal trial is the defendant, Marcel RaAnthony Richard. He is charged with human trafficking and compelling prostitution. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison. Richard, 31, has a criminal history that includes drug charges, theft and burglary of a motor vehicle. The teen, who is not being named because she is the victim of an alleged sex crime, has a history of using suggestive screen names and chatting online about sex with older men.  Continue reading...
