Train Crashes Into 18-wheeler Stuck on Tracks in Denton County

A freight train crashed into an 18-wheeler in Denton County after the truck got stuck on the tracks Thursday morning, officials said.The crash happened just after 9 a.m. in Sanger, about 12 miles north of Denton. There were no injuries and the train was not derailed, Denton County officials said.Denton County sheriff's Capt. Orlando Hinojosa said the truck driver called authorities to tell them his tractor-trailer was stuck on the tracks and could not be moved. Hinojosa said the train could not come to a stop before striking the truck.The crash happened between Cowling Road and Rector Road near FM156 in Sanger, Hinojosa said.
