Tow Truck Driver Killed in I-35E Crash in Stemmons Corridor, Authorities Say

A tow truck driver was killed early Monday when another driver struck the truck and sent it flying through an Interstate 35E guardrail, authorities say.The drivers were headed south when on I-35E when the other vehicle hit the truck near Empire Central Drive around 2:45 a.m., according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.The Tow Jam truck crashed through a guardrail, crossed the access road and crashed into a tree in the parking lot of a Taco Bell several hundred feet past the intersection.The driver, who hasn't been publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Continue reading...
