Here are some stories that you may have missed today.Families gather to remember tornado victimsA year ago today, nine motorists were killed after a tornado ripped through Garland Dec. 26, 2015. The city remembered the victims at an event Monday.About 50 members of the victims' families took part in the ceremony. Many held white carnations and most wore ribbons in honor of their loved ones.It was also a chance to honor the first responders and government officials who worked to speed aid and the rebuilding of the community.
