A 13-month-old boy was airlifted to a hospital Monday after he was kicked in the head by his family's miniature donkey, the Aubrey Fire Department said. The incident happened about before 2 p.m. at the boy's home. A PHI Med helicopter landed nearby at Aubrey High School on Spring Hill Road to pick up the child, firefighter Ryan Snider said. The school was not involved in the incident. The boy was flown to Medical City Dallas Hospital. He is in stable condition and is expected to be OK, he said.
