Three Dead, One Injured as Fire Breaks Out in Cedar Hill Home

Three people were killed in a fire that broke out Thursday morning in a Cedar Hill home.Police arrived first around 4:30 a.m. to a home in the 700 block of Lovern Street and rescued two people from a second-story window, city of Cedar Hill spokeswoman Alison Ream said.Of the four others who were removed, three died at the scene and one was hospitalized in unknown condition. In addition, three Cedar Hill police officers were treated for smoke inhalation at area hospitals.Firefighters from Cedar Hill, Duncanville, DeSoto and Ovilla responded to the call, Ream said.The cause of the fire is under investigation.  Continue reading...
