Three Carjacking Suspects Arrested After ‘thanking' Victims in White Rock Area, Ramming Police Vehicle in South Dallas

Three of five suspects connected to a carjacking Thursday night were in custody after police say they rammed one of their squad cars while trying to escape.It happened around 11 p.m. in the 121000 block of Sunland Street in the White Rock neighborhood when the suspects pulled up next to a family driving home, flashed a gun and demanded their car.According to police, the suspects wound up taking two vehicles, said "thank you" to one of the victims and fired off some gunshots as they left.One of the stolen vehicles was spotted by police around 1:45 a.m. in the 3450 block of Borich Street in South Dallas, just south of Fair Park. As police moved in, the suspects hit the front passenger side of the patrol car, police said.The three suspects who were arrested have not been identified.
