This Young Couple in the Texas Hill Country Is Making Some of the Most Exciting Small-batch Wines

Small-batch wine is commonplace in California but fairly new to Texas. Regan and Carey Meador sold their farm and vineyard on the North Fork of Long Island in New York and relocated to Texas Hill Country as Southold Farm and Cellar, exploring unusual small lots of grapes that have become more accessible to winemakers in Texas. They are focusing on wine made naturally with low intervention.
