WASHINGTON -- Nearly a week away from the fabled 100-day White House marker, President Donald Trump labeled as "ridiculous" the very standard he used to make a "contract with the American voter."Trump wrote on Twitter early Friday that "no matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days ... [the] media will kill!" He noted that he's done "a lot," including nominating Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.Despite that tamping down of expectations, the White House then proceeded to set the state for a intense final week before the tradition-laden deadline.Highlight of the dayTrump announced plans to next week unveil a "massive tax cut" -- "bigger, I believe, than any tax cut ever," he told the Associated Press.
