‘The Only Issue Is the Direction': South Dallas Residents Complain About State Troopers' Tactics

And he was pleased to hear about the Dallas Police Department's plan to tackle the city’s spike in violent crime with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s help.But nearly two months into task force’s progress, Washington feels his neighborhood is under siege — by state troopers.“The help is needed.
