The NRA Enables Home-grown Terrorists, Activists Say in Provocative ‘welcome'

This probably isn't the image the National Rifle Association wants to project.A Dallas-based activist group wanted to shed some light on the NRA, which is expected to draw upwards of 80,000 visitors -- including President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence -- to its annual confab this weekend at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.The North Texas Light Brigade, which describes itself as a group that fights "for human rights, social justice, environmental sustainability, economic fairness and an end to war and militarism using peaceful and creative means," left no doubt where it stands on the NRA's presence here.The group on Thursday projected a light sign on the facade of the convention center above Lamar Street that read, "NRA Enables Domestic Terrorists."  Continue reading...
