Texas Woman’s University Building Evacuated After Chemical Explosion

The graduate research building at Texas Woman’s University was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after the mixture of two chemicals caused an explosion.Around 12:45 p.m., an acid and a base were mixed together in a research lab when a reaction caused the glass container to burst, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5).No one was in the lab at the time and no injuries were reported, school officials told the station.  Continue reading...
