Texas Teen Accused of Using Revenge Porn to Blackmail Ex Into Having Sex With His Friends

A Houston-area teenager has been accused of using revenge porn to blackmail his ex-girlfriend into having sex with three of his friends.Authorities booked Demario Hunter, 18, into jail on a charge of threatening to unlawfully disclose intimate visual material Saturday. Prosecutors said in court that Hunter recorded himself having sex with a 19-year-old woman and threatened to release the video if she didn't have sex with three of his 15 year old friends, KHOU reports. The woman, his ex-girlfriend, called 911 when he told her to have sex with a fourth person -- his cousin -- and threatened her again, The Houston Chronicle reports.Equator Turner, Hunter's defense attorney, said the teen didn't have cell service so he wouldn't have been able to distribute the video. "He was basically playing poker," Turner said. "It was just a threat. Mr. Hunter didn't have any means to do anything that he was threatening to do."
