Texas Students Experience More STAAR Test Glitches, Causing Stress for Special Ed Kids

AUSTIN — Students across the state had problems connecting to the STAAR tests' online system Tuesday.Texas Education Agency spokeswoman DeEtta Culbertson said some of the 110,000 students online when the connection issues started experienced intermittent disruptions and system slowdowns."For some reason, students were having difficulty logging in," Culbertson said. "Once they were able to log in, there were some slowdowns to the system."She said the number of students and which districts were affected weren't available Tuesday because it will take a few days to compile the data.  Continue reading...
