AUSTIN — Senators debated health-related legislation Friday, including two contentious abortion bills that would prohibit local governments from sending tax dollars to abortion providers and increase reporting requirements when health complications arise.The Committee on Health and Human Services also passed a measure extending a state task force on maternal mortality.
