Texas Republicans See Mueller Report as Vindication for Trump; Dems See Further Evidence of Misdeeds

WASHINGTON — Texans in Congress reacted along partisan lines Thursday to the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's 488-page investigation into whether President Donald Trump conspired with Russian officials in the 2016 election and then obstructed justice.Democrats said Mueller's findings only confirmed their concern that Trump had done wrong, raising more questions that need to be answered."It's clear that @POTUS is afraid of the American people knowing the full truth," Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-El Paso, wrote on Twitter, before referring to Attorney General William Barr.
