Texas Mass Murders Appear in Boston-area Nativity Scene That's Doubling as Gun Violence Memorial

St. Susanna Catholic Parish in Massachussetts wants peace on earth, yes, but it also wants this country to talk about gun violence.It ended up making international headlines.This Christmas season, the congregation in the town of Dedham in the Boston area turned its Nativity scene into a gun violence memorial. Planks painted blue hover over Jesus, Mary and Joseph and their pastoral tableau. They list the death tolls of some of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history, including two in Texas: the 26 people killed in a Sutherland Springs church this year and the 13 slain in Fort Hood in 2009.  Continue reading...
