Texas Man Sentenced After Agents Find More Than 20,000 Child Porn Files, Some Depicting ‘sadistic Conduct’

A Denton County man was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in federal prison after he admitted to owning a computer that had more than 20,000 images and videos of child pornography. David M. Kruse, of The Colony, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography Oct. 6, 2016. In August 2015, federal agents obtained a search warrant for a computer Kruse, 63, owned. They spoke to Kruse, who admitted to owning it. They later found the tens of thousands of files, some "depicting prepubescent minors and sadistic or masochistic conduct," according to the U.S. Department of Justice. A federal grand jury indicted Kruse and charged him for child pornography violations on Aug. 13, 2015 and U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant sentenced him Wednesday.  Continue reading...
