Texas Man Gets 144 Years in Prison for Sexually Abusing Foster Children

A Texas man was sentenced to 144 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of sexually abusing his foster children.Kyle Anderson, 37, was found guilty of one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and three counts of indecency with a child, the Wichita Falls Times-Record News reports. The children, ages 5, 5 and 3, told Anderson's wife in May that he was sexually abusing them when she wasn't home. His wife called police and took the children to their foster agency.The next day, authorities recorded a call between the couple in which Anderson admitted to sexually abusing the three children.During Anderson's trial, three of his previous foster children testified against him, saying he abused them as well. They were 10, 9 and 7 at the time. The judge stacked Anderson's sentences on top of each other, so he can't serve them concurrently. He received 99 years for the aggravated sexual assault of a child conviction, and 15 years each on the indecency counts.  Continue reading...
