Texas Man Found Guilty of Kidnapping Two Sisters Whose Mother Was Beaten to Death

An Austin jury this week convicted a Round Rock man for kidnapping two sisters whose mother was found bludgeoned to death in 2017, officials said.The federal jury found Terry Allen Miles, 45, guilty Tuesday of two counts of kidnapping, one count of transporting a minor with intent to engage in sex with her and one count of interstate travel with intent to engage in sex with a minor, according to the Department of Justice.Police first began looking for Miles on Dec. 30, 2017, after a welfare check led them to the body of his roommate, Tonya Ellen Bates.   Continue reading...
