Texas Man Accused of Killing His 1-year-old Daughter, Her Mother ‘execution Style,' Authorities Say

A 26-year-old Temple man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of killing his 1-year-old daughter and the girl’s mother. Authorities found the child shot to death while still strapped in a car seat.Chris Paul Weiss faces two counts of capital murder and his bond was planned to be set at $1 million, KCEN-TV reported. He is being held at the McLennan County jail. Weiss is accused of fatally shooting Valarie Martinez, 24, and Azariah, 1, in execution style at a local lake, Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir Sunday, which is about 15 miles east of Waco, authorities told the station.Investigators believe Weiss was in a relationship with Valarie at the time of the murder while being married to another woman with whom he had two daughters, McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said to the station.  Continue reading...
