AUSTIN -- Gov. Greg Abbott supports a revival of the annual gridiron matchup of the University of Texas and Texas A&M University, he said Tuesday.Abbott backed legislation proposed by GOP San Antonio Rep. Lyle Larson, an A&M graduate, that would force the two schools to resume playing one another.Larson's bill would require the schools to meet on the football field on the fourth Thursday, Friday or Saturday of November.
