Texas Border Agents Stop Truck Carrying Frozen Strawberries, Discover Nearly $13M of Meth

Customs agents in South Texas discovered nearly $13 million worth of methamphetamine hidden in a shipment of strawberries over the weekend. A 42-year-old Mexican man was stopped Saturday while driving a truck into the United States at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.Officers inspected the shipment of frozen strawberries and found 906 pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated $12,700,000.   Continue reading...
