Texas A&M Applicant Sends Light Up Package to Get Admissions' Attention, Instead Attracts Bomb Squad

An eager Texas A&M hopeful appears to have unintentionally sent the university into high alert for more than two hours Thursday with their attempt to snag admissions officers' attention.A worker in the admissions office saw wires inside the person's application and a note that read "Flip switch," which prompted them to call authorities regarding a suspicious package about 10:20 a.m., according to a news release from the school's police department.
