Ten-year-old Piper Faust grew up talking about angels and telling her parents she wouldn't live to be old.Last night, she was about to compete in barrel racing at the Caldwell Rodeo, just outside of College Station, when her horse got spooked and fell backward on top of her.She died in the arena, KBTX-TV reported."She'd always talk to the angels, and they would talk to her, and she always told us that she wouldn't live to be old, that she would die young, and she knew it," her father, Brian, told KBTX.Piper's parents said their daughter was competitive, not only in rodeo but also in dance and softball.Her mother, Rhonda, told KBTX the girl did everything with her whole heart."She was just this tiny girl with so much attitude," she said.A GoFundMe page created in Piper's honor had raised most of its $20,000 goal as of Monday morning.
