Terrell Election Worker Accused of Vote Harvesting Says She Was Only Trying to Help

KAUFMAN — Accused of vote harvesting in race that was decided by a single vote, Terrell elections worker Brenda Prince testified Tuesday that she did nothing wrong."Anybody who comes to me and asks for assistance, I do what I can do," Prince testified.The Kaufman County elections supervisor testified, meanwhile, that the March 6 Republican primary was a fair contest in which only legitimate votes were counted.The supervisor, Teressa Floyd, said that one ballot was nullified because it was sent to a wrong address but that there were no other improprieties and the election was conducted in close contact with the secretary of state's office."If there are any issues in your election, you want them to know," Floyd said.  Continue reading...
