Temperatures in Dallas-Fort Worth Will Continue Their Roller-coaster Ride This Week

February’s trend of up-and-down temperatures will continue this week.After a weak cold front is expected to move through North Texas on Tuesday, temperatures will rise into the mid-70s on Thursday — and then drop again when another cold strong moves through the area Friday.Bianca Villanueva, a National Weather Service meteorologist, said Tuesday’s front is expected to arrive overnight. It will be relatively weak, but winds from the north at 15 to 20 mph Tuesday morning will make lows in the 40 feel colder, with wind chills in the upper 20s and mid-30s.Lows will drop into the mid-30s early Wednesday, but temperatures are expected to rise into the mid-60s Wednesday afternoon and into the mid-70s Thursday afternoon, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston.  Continue reading...
