TeleTech to Lay Off More Than 350 Employees at Richardson Office

Colorado-based TeleTech is laying off more than 350 people in late September, according to a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission. The outsourcing company provides customer support and other services. In its letter to the Texas Workforce Commission, TeleTech officials said the company would cease operations of TeleTech Health Services at the site. Most affected employees are hourly healthcare customer service agents, the letter said.The company said 408 employees were affected by the end of operations, but said it found alternate positions for 57 people and has some additional openings at its Ennis location.TeleTech did not say the reason for the layoffs in the letter.
