Teen Reportedly Kidnapped at Gunpoint Outside Texas Sam's Club After Thief Mistakes Him for Another Person

A teenager was allegedly kidnapped Monday evening in a case of mistaken identity, Temple police said. The 15-year-old was reportedly taken at gunpoint on the outdoor stairway between a Sam's Club and a Walmart and forced into a Chevrolet Malibu, according to KCEN-TV. Police think the alleged kidnapper confused the victim with another person he thought had helped steal his vehicle, the station reported. The kidnapper reportedly dropped the teen off at a Wells Fargo Bank less than half a mile away after realizing the boy did not know what he was talking about, police said.   Continue reading...
